I have an extra beta key for anyone that may want it.
Try this website first they have just over 2k keys left so we can all get on this and try the beta out until the real game comes out.

http://www.alienwarearena.com/event/bad-company-2-beta-giveaway/
That is how I got an extra key.

First impressions of the game.
Love it,graphics are call of duty with the team based play of the battlefield series. When the game is loading it asks you if you want to be in a squad. You can accept or when you start out you can create your own squad (up to 4 players in a squad)
Classes playable so far in the demo are Recon,Assault,Medic and Engineer with unlockables as you progress.
Tanks,Helicopters,UAV's,Quads are available in the demo.
In the demo their are two objectives, one is assault trying to plant bombs in specific points and move forward, the other is to defend said points so the enemy doesnt plant bombs there.
Bullets drop over distance, head shots kill people(go figure) enviroment can be destroyed depending on what it is hit with.Explosions near you send out a subsonic blast that disorentates you for a few seconds depending on how close it hits you.
Friends list,server list,Multiple game types.
This game is going to be amazing.
One note I will say at the bottom of the beta a ticker goes by saying they are working out bugs round the clock so Ill give it up to Dice/EA they want this game to be good.

And to give you guys a little idea of what it takes for the game to perform well, I'll tell you that I'm able to run the game on max settings with no hiccups or FPS lag of any type, but my systems specs are pretty high at:

Core2Duo 3.0Ghz processor
eVGA 680i SLI mobo
eVGA GTX260SSC 896MB
8 gigz G. Skill DDR2 RAM
HT Omega Striker 7.1 soundcard
PC Power & Cooling 850W power supply
All running Windows 7 64 bit

Gameplay wise, I'm very impressed. Normally I don't like playing Battlefield games without at least one team mate that I know because going alone often ends in a long walk to a short death, but in BC2 you can actually sneak around behind enemy lines and devastate them. In one round when my team was on the offensive, I snuck past groups of enemies and destroyed 2 objectives without ever firing a shot! I did, however, knife one guy who came to try and disable one of the charges (but he arrived just as the charge detonated). The game definitely seems more approachable to the general gamer, since vehicles actually become less useful as more people join the server, preventing the usual vehicle rape that occurs in Battlefield games. But it's still fun to drive a tank over a concrete barrier (crushing it as you go over), through a wooded area (knocking down trees as you go) and arrive on the other side in time to watch enemies duck behind cover, then put a tank round through the wall they are hiding behind Very Happy . Helis crash more realistically too, spinning out of control for a while before exploding, rather than just bursting into a wad of wreckage mid-air. This gives you a chance to bail out, and since pressing the jump button when in the air opens your parachute, there's no more "Oh god what did I bind parachute to?" panic modes when someone who normally stays on the ground has to bail out of an aircraft. I can't wait to play alongside other =Fs= members in this game. If you have the beta, add CobraDBlade to your friends list. I know I sent you a request Glum, so don't pretend Thumbs Up

EDIT: Oh yeah, UNLIMITED SPRINT! Very HappyVery HappyVery HappyVery HappyVery Happy

My two cents, Ya that's all it's worth ( my opinion not the game ) playing on the reeky squeaky the game does have lag problems bad ones for me 4-5 seconds of non movement only to find myself dead when 'time' resumes however the game is fun not the part where tanks are blowing you apart, but nube tubing enemies hasn't gotten old yet
P.S. to Razor I have not received a friend request from anyone however I did add you to my friends list and sent a friend request to you (I think it is possible that portion of the game don't work yet.)

Yeah I think the friends part is inoperative right now, since your friend request makes two that I should have gotten but isn't showing up.

Mad hacks in BFBad Co. 2 I got killed today by a dude whose two specialisations where both skull and cross bones and his health was 1000% after I emptied most of a mag at him (this is Glum so I won't claim all or even most shots fired hit the guy , some must have I was point blank from behind ) Of course punkbuster is not being used at this point on any server I've been on but still. (I want mad hacks too LOL) Sick

If it helps out in the decision, I have enough stable income to help pay for a server.
